THE LONG ROAD HOME VIDEO

The Long Road Home: South Vietnam Revisited, 1969.

The Long Road Home is a collection of color and black and white photographs taken by Ken Williamson in Vietnam in 1969, The script, narrated by Oscar Treadwell, describes the country, customs and people of Vietnam as a young Army correspondent experienced it.

REVIEW: It is 1969. From Hue to Saigon, to Tay Ninh and Pleiku, the country of South Vietnam is here in a rare collection of color slides and black and white photography. Now you can see South Vietnam as it was in 1969, at the height of the American military involvement, an exotic land where life carried on despite devastating conflict. This is an excellent video for schools or for anyone interested in Vietnam.
